Methanobacterium thermoautotrophicum의 ATP
independent RNA ligase이며, 5’-adenylation된 ssRNA
또는 DNA (5’-Ap-pN-pN-pN---3’, or AppDNA/RNA)를
다른 ssRNA 또는 DNA의 3’-OH 말단에 연결할 수 있다.
촉매 활성 자리에 위치한 Amino acid 한 개가 치환된
변이 효소이며, WT 단백질과 달리 5’ 말단에 인산화된
ssDNA/RNA의 5’-adenylation 반응을 촉매할 수 있다.
