-Strand cDNA Synthesis Kit은 total RNA 혹은
poly(A)+-selected RNA로부터 1

-strand cDNA로 효율적
으로 합성하기 위한 시스템이다. 본 키트는 Dyne
Thermo Reverse Transcriptase (thermostable, RNaseH
negative variant of M-MLV RTase)를 사용하며, 본 효소는
42~55℃에서 활성을 나타낸다. 온도가 단계적으로 상승
할수록 RNA template의 internal structural formation의
감소와 RTase의 polymerization의 활성 증가로 인하여
cDNA의 합성이 증가한다. 본 키트에 포함되어 있는
RNase inhibitor는 반응시간 동안 RNA degradation을 억
제하여 cDNA의 합성을 효율적으로 증가시킨다. 본 키트

-strand cDNA는 PCR 혹은 real-time PCR의
template로 사용된다.
